Born in São Paulo - Brazil, graduated in Graphic Design, since she was a little girl, Vanessa Barbieri has had a love for baking that was first inspired by her mother. Now, more than thirty years later, Vanessa is a cake designer and the founder of cakes by Vanessa.
A graduate of Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado College (Brazil), Vanessa began her career in Graphic Design in 1996.
In August 2005, after doing her own wedding cake, Vanessa began selling her personalized, exclusive and fun cakes to friends and friends of friends.
Soon her love for baking led her to leave her job as Graphic Designer to pursue her dream.
